Tonight I went to see Stillwater..well
no it was My Morning Jacket...play The Forum in Kentish Town, it was
pretty cheap (15 pounds for a seat!) and it's pretty close, so off I
went! And it could have been Stillwater for all I know :)
I must admit that apart from Z and a couple of songs from their Chapter
albumbs, I haven't listened to MMJ all that much so unfortunately the
set list isn't coming from me, but they played a lot of songs from Z and several from the new album Evil Urges, an album I must admit I like more than Z!
Jim James, the front man, was clearly hell bent on giving us the full
15 pounds worth last night, he was working his ass off all night but it
would have been nice if he'd talked a little more to the audience, all
is forgiven though because he wore a cape! A CAPE!
So that's all I can say, had a great time and I will be catching them
again live for sure. Here's a crappy picture I snatched from my seat on
the balcony (I did take a couple of short video clips but they all
turned out to be crappy):
