Nútímavandi.

Núna þegar ritgerðin er búin þá hef ég e-n veginn ekkert að gera. Fyrri helgar í mánuðnum fóru annaðhvort í að vinna í henni eða forðast það eins og heitan eldinn að vinna í henni, og þá finnur maður sér alltaf eitthvað skemmtilegt að gera í staðinn. Núna er klukkan 11 á laugardagsmorgni og ég hef ekkert að gera.

I have an innate talent for making a complete and utter ass of myself on crucial moments. Like sending 'professional' emails from my private email and today, while writing to my BA instructor, I misspelled 'misunderstanding' !

I'm an idiot.

BA entry #9.

This is just a reminder to write all about the exciting adventure of me trying to graduate once I've actually officially graduated, i.e. before they can snatch it back!

Some good advice to all you people out there, unlucky or not: Save every piece of email correspondence, fax receipts, letters you've sent to people etc I would record my phonecalls if I possibly could. Paranoid? You bet! Paranoid for a reason? YES!

Whatever can go wrong, will go wrong.

Það var óskaplega erfitt að vakna í morgun, ekki síst vegna þess að það er enginn Johnny Depp utan draumalandsins :(

BA entry #8.

Realised that instead of sending the draft to my instructor from my university email address or even my work email address, I used my personal email. 'Slightly' less professional.

So the 2nd draft has been handed in and from now on it's all about the finishing touches.

So is it good or bad? Sometimes I think it's good, sometimes I think it's crap. Of course thanks to the monthly bout of pms, I've been leaning towards 'crap' for the past couple of days.

BA entry #7.

(Seven down, three to go!)

Cannot.Write.Another.Sentence.

I've been working on my BA thesis and for some reason I got really stressed last night and then I woke up around 6 am and my back was all out of whack! Could barely move and I didn't have strong enough painkillers. I guess this is my repressed self acting out, stress and other bad stuff reside in my back and boy do they act out when they're pissed off!

And in other news, my sister just got the results for the MA, 8,5 out of a possible 10 and apparently she was only a few points away from a 9! No pressure there... No, seriously, I'm super proud of her.

So now i'm dragging my sorry ass back to my thesis.

Muffins.

Breskum vini mínum finnst frekar fyndið að Norðurlandabúar virðast flestir hverjir hafa tekið upp enska orðið 'muffins' yfir þetta fyrirbæri (t.d. í staðinn fyrir formköku) en nota það bara í fleirtölu. Við biðjum um eina möffins og tvær möffins, og það gera Svíar víst líka.

Og núna langar mig í sítrónu-möffins!

Ennui.

Þetta ætlar að verða einn af þessum dögum þar sem maður nennir engu, gerir ekkert og á bara nóg með að halda sér vakandi.

Svo er ennui líka bara flott orð.

Mig langar heim að sofa.
