Yesterday was my last exam and that's all I'm going to say/write about uni.
After sleeping for 12 or so hours, having lovely dreams about indie hipsters and Chuck Bass (damn you alarm clock!!!) I went out exploring N7. The somewhat gritty Holloway Road has some cool stuff; various used furniture stores that are fairly cheap and if you're willing to rummage a bit, have some hidden gems like a vintage seal skin winter coat that I have my eye on and a little battered ottoman that really has seen better days but it's cheap, 8 pounds. The guy wants 50 pounds for the coat but I'm going to see if he can't be talked down to 35-40, that is to say if it's still there next time I drop by.
And then I just kept on walking and didn't stop until I reached Angel. Since I was there, it was almost dinner time I threw caution to the wind and went to Tortilla, one of the few decent Mexian joints here. To my disappointment they've stopped selling Negro Modelo in favour of some other Modelo beer, not a cool move!
After finishing my burrito I hopped on the 153 bus home, looking forward to retrieving my shoes from my neighbour but when I reached my front door I realised I had no keys! Idiot. Thankfully one of my flatmates was home so now I'm saved from the rain outside, wearing my all new Converse sneakers, I don't think I'll ever take them off! My very first Converse shoes :)
Tonight I think I'll go see the SATC movie and tomorrow it's Mexican food in Guildford!
p.s. I have Photoshop again, good times!
ah, converse shoes are love.

Negro Modelo is my favorite beer. It is my default when I am home in Texas. I had no idea it was known on this continent.

It's one of my favourites as well, I've only seen it twice here in London (that Mexican place next your school and Tortilla, a mexican take away place in Angel) but my friend Bethany says she's seen it in some off licenses. There is this Mexican shop in Victoria somewhere that reportedly sells it.
