One exam down, two to go! Got pretty lucky with topics; foreign aid, jurisdiction and NGOs

Had people over for a barbecue last night but thanks to stupid British charcoals we ended up having to use the frying pan instead,  after the meat had been on the  grill for 40 minutes and nothing was happening!  But it turned out alright in the end (and of course I ended up petting yet another cat! I blame the red wine!)

Oh and summer has arrived and my wardrobe is black with a splash of white, I need to go shopping if I don't want to be taken for an Amish walking around London!

Apple Juice.

My flatmate / adopted baby brother Chris (I always want to add a 'T' to that name when I type it!) asked me earlier if I wanted anything from the supermarket since he was heading that way, I said yes please, I'd forgotten to buy apple juice earlier today. His response? "Anything particular? Freshly pressed, cloudy, mixed from the sweat of muscular men with beards?" There's a reason why I've adopted him as my baby brother! Love you Chris :)

The New Digs.

So far life is pretty sweet here in Holloway, the cohabitation running pretty smoothly and I'm loving the neighbourhood, although the fact that the Arsenal stadium is almost in our back garden means that on match days it is pretty much a war zone. I'll post some pics soon.

The sun was out today and not a cloud in sight, yay! (I've had enough of the non-stop rain) So I gathered my books and headed for our garden and silly me didn't wear any sunscreen so my shoulders are bit red but I think my face is a little less pasty that yesterday.

This wonderful weather plus our lovely garden makes me want to have this for dinner, maybe Friday...it does not make my dinner, M&S Spinach and Ricotta Cannelloni with garlic bread, look appetizing however.

Oh and it's Cinco de Mayo, I could so go for Mexican right now...
